yea! finally i'm back from my kidsworld camp! I'd say it was rather fun, tiring and full of excitment when it comes to handling the kids. We only managed to take most of photos on the last day at scicentre and hall 6.

Day 1
As usual, vm committee meeting was delayed as not everyone was punctual. We waited at wsc till 9.30am while we were told to reach at 9am before we set off to hall 6 function hall where most of the indoor activites would be held there. Apprehension was the word when i first saw all the volunteers waiting outside hall 6 FH. After all i am unfamiliar with them and i've to work with them throughout these 3 days. On the happier note, royston, jason, liyen, hoiwang were in my grp so i wasn't really alone. Relieved! And my volunteers actually did a good job. If not for them, i'd be dead.

Then come the kids, sorting ceremony and all my kids come from Cheng San Family service centre. Some of them were hyperactive? Seldom could u expect my whole grp to be settled down in a circle. 4 of them tends to wander off on their own. Super tedious to keep track of them and some of them played in the rain. Their shirts were wet, 50% sweats and 50% of rainwater? yucks! Shouted endlessly just to let them listen to me but to no avail. At the moment, i wanted to cry because day 1 programmes end only at 6pm and its only 1pm and i'm having difficulty to control them! In the end, most of the exco learnt from me that my kids are super rowdy!

On the happier note, they were able to play well in the games, primarily because they love games? So out of 5 games, we won 3 games, though we didnt have full strength as 2 kids wandered off. -.-

6pm! Finally the kids were being sent back home! sigh. We had a hard time today to the extent that i was having a headache, hoiwang lost his voice and most of them >.< All we did was to pray that tml would be better by having less kids. haha!

Then royston we all went to jp for dinner n movie! chipmunks! super bushed but luckily we didnt fall asleep in the cinema! haha!! 11pm, we took 199 to hoiwang's hall to take my stuff. I hate hall! Cats all around, looking at u discreetly. Then roy,ly,jason and me walked back to hall 4, so creepy night!

Day 2
Woke up at 11am and we met up at hall 2 to have lunch before dealing with the little demons :x To my great relief, 4 of them didnt turn up, which i later found the out the reason - forgot to bring consent forms. So today was a rather good one for us, enough manpower, only with swee siang sprained his ankle who was then called as limping korkor, to fix our eyes on each and everyone of them. The great monopoly games were engaging enough, though the venues of each games was all around ntu campus and the clues for each location is like so difficulty for the kids! So, grp leaders were told all the locations but we can only say out the venue when the kids really have no idea whats the clue is heading to. boo. It was not a simple feat to move my children around obediently can! 1 of them likes to pull my hand n run -.-

Due to all the delays, we were only able to accomplished 6 games and had some time while waiting for all other groups to gather at SAC so we took some photos!

6pm, the kids were off and said bye to my other 5 volunteers, leaving behind the 5 of us again. had dinner at hall 5 and then back to liyen's hall to play cards



Played till 1am, the guys went back to their respective halls while ly and i went to watch 100% entertainment. happening! haha!

Day 3
Long day, from sci centre to fashion parade to christmas party to home sweet home for the kids! pictures speak a thousand words.

At the end of the day, we gave grace a bday surprise! hurhur! Went out to have prata at 1am, back to hall to play cards till 7+am. so fun! =)

So conclusion, kids are playful, hard to control but they can be lovely too. Surprising my frens don mind to join kidsworld again after being tortured by the kids to run here n there and all the blood boils.
